bloomingdale’s breast cancer awareness month

The Ask: Bloomingdale’s wanted to take a supportive stance during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) with a cause campaign that aligns with the brand.

The Answer: Let’s come up with a line of copy that perfectly captures the Bloomingdale’s brand voice. It is sensitive and self-aware of the serious subject matter, but still optimistic and says it with a wink.

As a special gift-with-purchase for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bloomingdale’s produced iPad cases with the tagline print on it. This was perhaps the most gratifying project I have worked on as a copywriter since it allowed me to use my creativity to help a special cause that is near and dear to my heart (my mother is a breast cancer survivor).
